Easy to Use

By: on 19 October 2023
I have 2 of these scopes, both are DS35-70 LRF 850 and I love them. One is permanently positioned on an FX Impact in .22 call and with the aid of a thermal spotter i can cull bunnies and the odd fox or cat with ease. The scopes illuminator easily outstretches the air gun but is the perfect tool for the job and the range finder and ballistic calculator is spot on even with the large holdovers for an air gun. The second scope is on a 243rem shooting 87g vmax, again for vermin control. This also has the ability of controlling pigs, goats, deer, cats, dogs and foxes under the right conditions and the on board illuminator works out to 300m plus the range finder is perfect to double check distances (i have found this deceptive at night) although this calibre is relatively flat shooting out to this distance. I have checked the ballistic calculator out to 500m and with a small tweak to the bc was spot on. Having not used night vision before these 2 scopes I have found them very easy to set up and a very useful tool for controlling pest animals. Hunt the night were great to deal with and answered all of my questions before and after buying. These things are game changers, I can get pests under control in half the time it used to take me.

good overall

By: on 14 October 2023
This is my first night vision scope, have not had much use yet but finding it great overall. However, should have gone for the 35-50 with more field of view, as i do find it hard to acquire the target in black/white mode.
